The Polz family in Grassnitzberg, Styria have been schooling their grapes into valedictorian positions since 1912. Hand-picking grapes with a promising future, they aim to transfer excellence into a glass. The journey to the top is wrought with learning curves, but with the winery’s rich traditions and sustainable farming practices to aid them, brothers Christoph and Erich Polz Jr are ready to solidify a fruitful future for the next generation of winemakers and wine lovers.
