Fred Loimer must have heard that “authentic” is the new buzzword because he’s got all hands on deck, making sure his wines live up to the name and proudly tell their origin story. He’s been known for his daring moves since his experiments with Grüner Veltliner and Chardonnay in the 90s, and the construction of a mysterious minimalist cube above his cellar in 2000.
